Is Freeze Fresh gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegetarian?

All of the basic freezing instructions in this book are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan. In an effort to make preserving as accessible as possible for people who have different food allergies, sensitivities, and preferences, the 100+ recipes in this book are made with real, whole foods, and are very adaptable to many different dietary considerations.

Is this book gluten-free friendly?
Yes! Out of 112+ recipes, 110 are gluten-free. All of my recipes were tested with all-purpose flour and several different gluten-free flour blends to ensure they work for a wide variety of people. Only 2 of the recipes do not adapt to gluten-free flour.

Is this book dairy-free friendly?
Yes! Out of 112+ recipes, 78 are dairy-free. When counting which recipes were dairy-free, I used the strictest requirements. This means that there are plenty more recipes above the 78 that would need only a simple substitution (like using dairy-free butter) to be adapted.

Is this book vegetarian-friendly?
Yes! Because the focus is on freezing fruits and vegetables, it is accommodating to a vegetarian diet. Out of 112+ recipes, 102 are vegetarian (this includes recipes with eggs, honey, and dairy). Only 10 recipes in this book use meat, gelatin, or fish.

Is this book vegan-friendly?
Yes! Because the focus is on freezing fruits and vegetables, it is accommodating to a plant-based lifestyle. Out of 112+ recipes, 62 are vegan. When counting which recipes were vegan, I used the strictest requirements. This means that there are plenty more recipes above the 62 that would need only a simple substitution (like using plant-based butter) to be adapted.
