Have you ever made marinara sauce on a sheet pan? Have you ever made marinara sauce on a sheet pan? This is a “use what you’ve got” sauce recipe that is exceptionally fast to whip up and loaded with garden fresh veggies.

It's a great way to use up odds and ends of things like zucchini, peppers, onions, green beans, eggplant, and garlic.

Once it's roasted and turning golden brown, I run it through the blender and then freeze it.

It's incredibly fresh tasting, and my favorite for pairing with meatballs (especially in the depths of winter!).

Find the recipe in Freeze Fresh Meal Prep!

They are very small birds but lay huge blue eggs! ...I actually can't believe the size of the egg from those small hens. And because they are small, they don't eat as much as some the heavier breeds... so a great value in terms of feed cost and egg yield.

That's not why we got them though— honestly, they were the only blue egger chicks I could find locally here last year. I'm happy to have them though! Their eggs are beautiful!
